We started out the day with a tour of the new police station. We got to see interview rooms, police vehicles, and even the evidence room. Our next stop was Southwest Water, where we learned about everything that happens in order to be able to turn on our faucet. Before lunch, we made a stop at the local animal shelter. Gail Ebeltoft met us at Marisa’s house for a delicious lunch where we learned all about proper dinner etiquette. After lunch we visited with City Administrator Shawn Kessel at the City Hall. We finished the day by tying blankets for our service project with the residents at St. Luke’s.
