The North Dakota Petroleum Council (NDCP) will hold a free public education seminar about the oil and gas industry on Tuesday, Sept 23, 2014 from 3:30-5 p.m. at the Hotel Astoria in Dickinson.

Industry experts will offer information about various aspects of the Bakken oil play, including drilling and production, hydraulic fracturing, oil and gas production, and solutions for oil industry impacts in North Dakota.

Featured speakers include Ron Ness, NDPC president, Kathy Neset, owner of Neset Consulting Service, and Lynn Helms, director of the North Dakota Department of Natural Resources.

This event is free of charge and open to the public. No registration is necessary.
