Held at the Ramada Grand Dakota Hotel on January 19th, our 3rd Annual State of the City luncheon  featured presentations from Lynn Helms, Director of Department of Mineral Resources; Mayor Gene Jackson, City of Dickinson; Kelly Braun, Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport; Gaylon Baker, Stark Development Corporation and Cal Oraw served as emcee.

Each speaker provided insight into future priorities. Lynn Helms discussed the possibilities for future oil production in the area. Mayor Gene Jackson discussed the area’s budgetary situation. Kelly Braun discussed traffic levels. Gaylon Baker discussed the need for economic diversification.
